The Medina Bobcat girls basketball team found itself in a David versus Goliath game on Friday, Dec. 18, and they had no rock to slay the giant, falling Rocksprings 66-22.
Despite the disappointing loss, the team made a giant effort throughout the game and played with heart, said Coach Cully Doyle.
“The girls played a tough first round of district play with Rocksprings,” he said. “Rocksprings is a good team, but we believe we are a good team as well. We gave them a run early, keeping their score down through the half because of our early defense.
