A few years ago, the son of a Jewish friend was violently attacked by “Christian (?)” thugs. More recently a man in Kerrville was physically attacked because he wore the wrong political cap. Another friend recently told me her daughter was verbally attacked and abused because she was wearing a UT Austin shirt, whereas the attackers were from Texas A&M. I have a couple times been verbally abused about “looking like a cowboy” while I was distributing the weekly Bandera entertainment guide.
