Small nonfarm businesses in 49 Texas counties, including Bandera County, are eligible to apply for low interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration to offset economic losses stemming from reduced revenues caused by the drought that began in September, Director Tanya N. Garfield of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West said in a news release.
The primary counties in which the disaster loans have been made available are Bexar, Blanco, Coleman, Comal, Dallas, Guadalupe, Hays, Irion, Kendall, Kinney, Maverick, Schleicher and Uvalde.
