Sheriff Dan Butts and EMS Director, Shannon Griffin, presented their department reports for the month of July at the August 24 meeting of the Bandera County Commissioners’ Court.Butts said his department hired two new deputies and lost another two in the last month.“One went to Kerrville, and one went to DPS. We can’t beat DPS. She doubled her salary by going to DPS,” said Butts.Butts reported the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office responded to 568 calls for service and traveled 19,507 miles in July with an average response time of 14 minutes and 43 seconds.They had 28 arrests, 21 agency assists,
