The Medina Independent School District Board of Trustees held a town hall meeting on Monday, Oct. 19, to discuss the district’s Tax Ratification Election that voters will decide on Tuesday, Nov. 3, but only two people attended to ask questions.
Trustees held the meeting at the district’s multipurpose gym to answer questions from taxpayers, explain what the ratification election is and to discuss their goals for 2020-21.
One of the district’s main goals is to recapture revenue it lost as a result of new taxing and spending guidelines set out in the state’s school finance reform package known as House Bill 3.
